Would You Book This Same Cabin Again?
No way. I was counting the days until we could leave this cabin.
Noise In Cabin
The cabin was so noisy that I would never book this cabin again
Very specific. We booked with the Celebrity agent in Miami and when notified of the cabin number, looked on ship diagram and noticed that it was above theatre. We asked agent if noise would be a problem and she assured us not. IT WAS. The first night we could hear the show noise until midnight. The following night after the show the band was rehearsing from about midnight til 2 a.m. and we could hear the bass beat. At 1:30 a.m.
Cabin Odor
No noticable Odors
Temperature Control in Cabin
The temperature controls were VERY effective and you could easily maintain temperature
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin 6119
The WiFi signal strength was OK

The lighting was good -- nothing extraordinary

The view was partially obstructed
The view of the cabin we were moved to was partially obstructed.
Drawers, Clothes and Luggage Storage
Good, but, I could have used a bit more storage space
Technology, Comfort & Convenience
Excellent. Larger sized flat-panel TV. Ipod dock
Lounging Space
Excellent. Combination of chair(s), couch and coffee or side table. Everyone could find a seat
Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION)
Not sure where I left off my earlier comments re cabin 6119 when there was no room to finish. But, besides the noise issue, we had another problem. I had told Carla, our Celebrity booking agent, that I would need a wheelchair in embarking on the ship which she noted on our reservation. However, this fact was completely ignored when she selected our cabin as 6119 was about as far from an elevator as could be. In speaking to Guest Relations again on, I believe our third day aboard the Eclipse, this fact plus the noise issue resulted in our cabin being changed to 6261. We have been pleased with prior sailings on Celebrity ships but, obviously, were disappointed with the arrangements made by your Celebrity booking agent for this cruise.
