Absolutely! It's a great cabin.
Noise In Cabin
No Noise -- Very Quiet Cabin
Cabin Odor
No noticable Odors
Temperature Control in Cabin
The temperature controls were VERY effective and you could easily maintain temperature
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin 6135
Have you seen what the cruise line charges for WiFi? I can't afford that... (I didn't test it...)
Lighting
The lighting is exceptional - the cabin was very thoughfully lit.
The lighting was good. However, it did take me a few tries to adjust the dimming & work out how the master switch adjusts all the lights. Not a real problem, however.
Bathroom Condition
There is a little bit of wear and tear on the bathroom, but, it didn't feel dirty
View From The Cabin
Amazing view - I loved looking at the view every day
Drawers, Clothes and Luggage Storage
Excellent. I was able to find a place for everything in the drawers and closet. I didn't have to leave anything in my suitcase
Technology, Comfort & Convenience
Good. Appropriately sized, flat-panel TV and Ipod dock
Lounging Space
Very Good. Chair or a couch with a coffee or side table
Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION)
Stateroom 6135 was a great room for first time cruisers. It is also one of the wheelchair accessible rooms. The room space was larger than expected with adequate drawer & hanging space for our 12 night cruise. Perhaps if you were doing months it could be a concern, but if you could afford that then I would imagine you would take a suite. If I was to criticise anything it would be the furnishings. The curtains were becoming tatty with some tears in the fabric. Also, the valance was worn threadbare at the corners- no doubt from the wheelchairs rubbing past the outer corner. The bathroom had adequate hand rails for my husband's safety. -But the little drop down seat was too narrow & unsafe for him, so I requested a shower chair which worked much better. The sink was a good height for the wheelchair, but the front board under the vanity kept falling onto my husband's legs. Also, one more suggestion... in the bedroom section of the stateroom is: A handrail near the bed to assist the person to be able to stand safely from their wheelchair & either get into bed or to stand out of bed safely. Or a removable bed post that fits under the mattress that can assist the person to sit, turn & stand safely. Just a few ideas that could be considered. However, my husband & I would be very happy to have the same stateroom again on our next cruise(s). Thank you again for a wonderful room with a great view. An ideal location.
