Overall Room Condition Impressions The cabin is in desparate need of a remodel. It looks tired and feels dirty
Would You Book This Same Cabin Again? No way. I was counting the days until we could leave this cabin.
Noise In Cabin The cabin was so noisy that I would never book this cabin again
Cabin Odor A strong Odor - slightly annoying.
Temperature Control in Cabin The temperature controls were good, but, you would have to regularly change them to maintain the appropriate temperature
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin 8616 Have you seen what the cruise line charges for WiFi? I can't afford that... (I didn't test it...)

View From The Cabin Amazing view - I loved looking at the view every day

Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION) Had a very ordinary cabin with no change of sheets for 9 days, absolutely disgusting. No tv for 5 days because we had no reception - We were unable to sleep due to persistent noise. At night and nil response from anyone except for a maintenance person coming and spraying WD 40 thinking this would help noise. It was unbearable during night and was unable to sleep properly. We were not taken seriously about the noise, so disappointed. We had other people's hair and dirt on the floor and balcony glass was never properly cleaned even after repeated requests. We had hard pillows and hard beds - requested other pillows and were told none available. There wer no In-house robes or slippers nor proper toiletries, weven had a bucket of water outside our door due to leak in roof porter - very very lazy and unhelpful staff in general and seemed unhappy due to being over worked - the comedian was disgraceful and the theatre was abandoned after 10 mins. Food in the main dining areawas ordinary not 5 star as most other cruises. Windjammer was closed at times unheard off on other cruises. Menus also same for all 9 days this should vary daily. Kids curfew should be 11pm not 1pm and they should not be allowed to run on board more attention needs to be paid to unruly kids. Generally felt cruise destinations fabulous but cruise ship Explorer very disappointing will not recommend to any of my many cruise friends at this time perhaps other ships better but don't know found ship and entertainment very disjointed entertainment in general was weak and a bit silly felt like a very cheap ship could actually be very nice as it has the making and looks of a lovely ship but needs work would very much like to see it improved and try again but not at this time. I do have photos and video sound of persistent noise and grime and dirt to prove as I was looking forward to returning home and catch up on sleep as this was not a very relaxing holiday rather quite stressful. After speaking to a lot of people onboard most agreed regarding food and entertainment and a few people agreed with uncleanliness and total disjointment of ship. My sister in law and myself were very much disillusioned with this cruise ship at this stage. To top it all off we could not even buy our photos as they were unable to find our dining room shots. A bucket was placed outside our door together with a fan on last night so more night noise and inconvenience of having to step over bucket to enter or exit our room
