Passengers in Cabin:2 Passengers
Past Cruise Experience:2-5 Cruises
Overall Room Condition Impressions
Spotless. Everything is in top shape and feels very clean
Would You Book This Same Cabin Again?
Absolutely! It's a great cabin.
Noise In Cabin
No Noise -- Very Quiet Cabin
Cabin Odor
No noticable Odors
Temperature Control in Cabin
The temperature controls were good, but, you would have to regularly change them to maintain the appropriate temperature
Cabin 3079 was moderately temperature - not to cool, not to warm. I had the thermostat on the coolest setting so thought that was it. However, following the cruise my friends in other cabins (including interior) said their a/c caused their cabin to be too cool.
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin 6079
I'm on vacation -- the last thing I want to do is connect to WiFi. (I didn't test it…)
Lighting
The lighting was good -- nothing extraordinary
Bathroom Condition
There is a little bit of wear and tear on the bathroom, but, it didn't feel dirty
View From The Cabin
What view? I was in an inside cabin
By booking this cabin I saved $1,200 which allowed me to cruise for two weeks instead of one. This cabin (a "large" interior) was surprisingly spacious. I didn't feel closed in at all. It had a sofa along one wall and lots of room to get dressed undressed for the two of us. Our friends also had an interior cabin but it wasn't coded as "large" and it was much smaller.
Drawers, Clothes and Luggage Storage
Excellent. I was able to find a place for everything in the drawers and closet. I didn't have to leave anything in my suitcase
Technology, Comfort & Convenience
Needs improvement. Undersized flat panel TV and an iPod dock
Lounging Space
Needs more sitting room. Only a chair and no coffee or side table
Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION)
Note: there is no ipod doc in this cabin. All in all good value for the $1,200 I saved. I'd stay in it again. Two things I would change: 1) the bland grey-white walls; and 2) sometimes it seemed a little stuffy but that was probably because I didn't realize the a/c wasn't up to par. The positive is that instead of spending time reading on my cabin balcony (as I have on all my past cruises) I had to find places on the ship and, as a result, I felt much less isolated than I have on the other cruises. I would definitely book an interior cabin again.
