Passengers in Cabin:3 Passengers
Past Cruise Experience:My First Cruise
Overall Room Condition Impressions
There is a little bit of wear and tear, but, it is in generally good shape
Would You Book This Same Cabin Again?
Its Not a Bad Cabin -- I would be open to trying a different cabin, however.
Noise In Cabin
No Noise -- Very Quiet Cabin
The life boats or tender boats were under ,so one morning I did hear them putting one in the water... But it was only one morning as they don't always take the same tender boat.
No noticable Odors
Temperature Control in Cabin
Why did they even bother putting a thermostat in the cabin -- it didn't work
I think our temperature control broke during the cruise- it worked for the first few days, then stopped working. Wasn't an unpleasent temperature.
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin 6306
I couldn't get WiFi in the cabin
The lighting was good -- nothing extraordinary
Did have issues with the main light bulb flickering, they came and fixed it.
There is a little bit of wear and tear on the bathroom, but, it didn't feel dirty
View From The Cabin
Very good view
Beautiful view but hadn't realised deck 6 is enclosed with metal, so we only had an open window on the balcony. I was expecting a glass barrier that we could see out of to the ground, but it was more like a high window- so you couldn't see that well from the bed. Also, I noticed the window in this room was smaller than others. Our interconnected room 6308 had a bigger window and you could see out of it better from the room.
Drawers, Clothes and Luggage Storage
Very good. I was able to find a place for most things in the drawers and closet. I did have to use my suitcase to store some things
Technology, Comfort & Convenience
Needs serious improvement. Undersized flat panel TV and no iPod dock
Needs more sitting room. Only a chair and no coffee or side table
Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION)
We fitted 3 people in this cabin- 2 adults and one child. We also had the interconnecting room next door 6308 with 1 adult and 2 children. I was pleasantly surprised by the the bathroom storage, there was plenty of space for all our toiletries. There is room under the bed for your suitcases. We kept some things in our suitcases and could easily slide them in and out from under the bed. We were nice and close to the elevator, which was great as we were constantly going back and forth to the room... would be a pain to walk to far each time. But, there was no noise from the lift. I get sea sick, so it was a good choice to be down lower and more towards the middle of the ship but on the edge. Motion was noticeably less than other areas on the ship. Overall, very happy but would have preferred the view to go all the way to the floor, so you could see lying on the bed. Between 6306 and 6308, I think 6308 had the slightly better view because of the larger viewing hole and the position of the bed. 6306 feet were towards the front of the ship and 6308 head was towards front of the ship. The third bed is a bunk bed that comes out of the celinng above the adult bed. Attendant pulls it down at bedtime and puts it away in the morning. The kids liked this, and the adults got used to it,
