The cabin is in desparate need of a remodel. It looks tired and feels dirty
Would You Book This Same Cabin Again?
No way. I was counting the days until we could leave this cabin.
Noise In Cabin
A little noise in the cabin -- you didn't notice it if you were not paying attention
A very strong, unpleasant odor. But, the steward(ess) was able to remove / neutralize the odor.
When we boarded the ship, the cabin crew were still working in our cabin s there had been a flood and the carpet was very wet. There were machines to dry it but when we came to go to bed, the carpet was still wet and the room smelt horrible. They gave us another cabin for 1 night only and we had to be out by 9.00 am. They worked on the cabin carpet the next day and shampooed it too but you could even smell the musky smell as you walked along the corridor to our cabin.
Temperature Control in Cabin
The temperature controls were good, but, you would have to regularly change them to maintain the appropriate temperature

Have you seen what the cruise line charges for WiFi? I can't afford that... (I didn't test it...)
The lighting was good -- nothing extraordinary
There is a little bit of wear and tear on the bathroom, but, it didn't feel dirty

What view? I was in an inside cabin

My cabin size was effectively a closet to begin with - so there was hardly any storage space
Technology, Comfort & Convenience
Good. Appropriately sized, flat-panel TV and Ipod dock
Needs more sitting room. Only a chair and no coffee or side table

Cabin was very disappointing and we felt we should have been moved to another cabin. We were given a meal in the Italian Speciality Restaurant for our 2 friends and ourselves but as the food and service in the main ship restaurant was very good, really, it was a poor gesture to make up for a bad start. Was disappointed in the speciality restaurant and certainly would not use one again. We are emerald customers after all.
