Overall Room Condition Impressions
The cabin is beginning to look "tired". But, it still appeared to be clean
Would You Book This Same Cabin Again?
Its Not a Bad Cabin -- I would be open to trying a different cabin, however.
Noise In Cabin
You could hear a good deal of noise, it was mostly tolerable
Anchor noise is jarring..it woke us up. Bow thruster noise in port when its stormy is worse.. fortunately it was mostly in the afternoon and only on one day. We didn't notice any noise from restaurants or entertainment venues though!
Cabin Odor
No noticable Odors
Temperature Control in Cabin
The temperature controls were VERY effective and you could easily maintain temperature
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin 3005
I'm on vacation -- the last thing I want to do is connect to WiFi. (I didn't test it…)
Lighting
The lighting was good -- nothing extraordinary
Bathroom Condition
Spotless. Everything is in top shape and feels very clean
View From The Cabin
The view was partially obstructed
This cabin has 2 very deep portholes so you have to be right down at eye level to see anything. Would prefer a normal picture window.
Drawers, Clothes and Luggage Storage
Good, but, I could have used a bit more storage space
Technology, Comfort & Convenience
Needs serious improvement. Undersized flat panel TV and no iPod dock
Lounging Space
Very Good. Chair or a couch with a coffee or side table
Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION)
We picked this cabin as it appeared bigger on the deck plan. This is deceptive! There is a large flat section behind the bed about the size of a single bed which my daughter found great for playing but its not exactly 'usable' space. In other respects its the same size as a standard outside cabin in this class. The bathrooms have been updated and are great. Overall storage was good with numerous cupboards and drawers butit would be good to have more space for larger suitcases. Nearly every drawer needs to be repaired as the runners are not smooth and it was quite a workout to get them open. The curtain which is supposed to be used to separate the living space from the sleeping space was stowed on top of the wardrobe for some unknown reason. Writing desk was great, sofa was great, beds were very comfortable. I think these cabins are slightly smaller than our previous cruises but for the price they are still great value for money and as a place to crash after a busy day in port it was fine!
DeckPlanGenius Review Authenticity Statement
In a perfect world, everybody would be honest and there would be no "fake" reviews -- reviews for compensation, reviews by those with a business connection to the cruise line and even reviews by persons who never cruised in this cabin or on this ship! Use common sense and maintain a degree of skepticism with all reviews that you read.
