There is a little bit of wear and tear, but, it is in generally good shape
Would You Book This Same Cabin Again?
Its Not a Bad Cabin -- I would be open to trying a different cabin, however.
Noise In Cabin
No Noise -- Very Quiet Cabin
I could not hear any noise from other cabins above or below or on either side. I could only hear other passengers while on balcony.
Cabin Odor
A very strong, unpleasant odor. But, the steward(ess) was able to remove / neutralize the odor.
Bathroom had very noticeable moldy odor when I came onboard. I mentioned it to Aji the second day of cruise, and odor was gone when I returned that evening. The odor started to return later in the cruise when bathtub water was going down the drain, so I'm thinking it originated in plumbing vent system. It was not noticeable unless water was running down the drain.
Temperature Control in Cabin
The temperature controls were VERY effective and you could easily maintain temperature
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin 8016
Have you seen what the cruise line charges for WiFi? I can't afford that... (I didn't test it...)
Lighting
The lighting is exceptional - the cabin was very thoughfully lit.
There were so many lights in the cabin I may not have used all of them. There was even a light on the magnifying mirror.
Bathroom Condition
The bathroom is beginning to look "tired". But, it still appeared to be clean
View From The Cabin
Amazing view - I loved looking at the view every day
Drawers, Clothes and Luggage Storage
Excellent. I was able to find a place for everything in the drawers and closet. I didn't have to leave anything in my suitcase
Technology, Comfort & Convenience
Needs serious improvement. Undersized flat panel TV and no iPod dock
Lounging Space
Very Good. Chair or a couch with a coffee or side table
Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION)
I am short, so it was not a problem for me, but I think a tall person would have had to lean over to enter the bathroom. Maybe all the bathrooms have low ceiling and high floor. The couch has a very deep seat, so it wasn't particularly comfortable for me, however there was a chair and a hassock, which held blankets, which I used for sitting on the veranda. The coffee table had adjustable height revolving top, very useful, some signs of wear. Two chairs and a table on the veranda.
