Overall Room Condition Impressions
The cabin is beginning to look "tired". But, it still appeared to be clean
Would You Book This Same Cabin Again?
Its Not a Bad Cabin -- I would be open to trying a different cabin, however.
Noise In Cabin
The cabin was so noisy that I would never book this cabin again
It was very quiet except that we could hear the scraping of chairs above us on the Lido deck. Not a problem though. The issue we had was the "Caribbean Music with DJ Tropic" night. It was on the Lido deck and didn't start till 9:30 p.m. With the loud thumping of music and people stomping above us, there was no way we could sleep; felt like the ceiling was going to cave in. AND it was a night when we were turning our clocks ahead an hour and we had an excursion booked for the next morning!
No noticable Odors
Temperature Control in Cabin
The temperature controls were good, but, you would have to regularly change them to maintain the appropriate temperature
The control was so simple it was confusing. Just a dial with a plus and a minus sign. So, what does that mean? If one turns it to the plus, does that mean hotter or colder, and vice versa?
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin 8180
I couldn't get WiFi in the cabin
The lighting is exceptional - the cabin was very thoughfully lit.
Excellent lighting. However, the light over the closet was dim.
There is a little bit of wear and tear on the bathroom, but, it didn't feel dirty
View From The Cabin
Very good view
There were very small paints chips all over our balcony. During the cruise we were told that all the balconies would be cleaned on a certain day. We never noticed that anything had been done.
Drawers, Clothes and Luggage Storage
Excellent. I was able to find a place for everything in the drawers and closet. I didn't have to leave anything in my suitcase
Technology, Comfort & Convenience
Needs improvement. Undersized flat panel TV and an iPod dock
Very Good. Chair or a couch with a coffee or side table
Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION)
Overall we were pleased. Very comfortable. However, the carpet and sofa looked a bit worn and in need of replacement. The bathroom, although small, was sufficient. Countertop/sink looked a bit worn. Liked all the shelves in the bathroom but wish they had sides on them so our toiletries wouldn't slide and fall off. The bed was comfortable. TV a bit small but not a big deal; we didn't go on a cruise to watch TV. There were tiny bits of paint on the deck of the balcony. This cabin is below the Lido deck and you will hear the scraping of chairs above you. And, if there is a late-night event on the deck it will be very loud! Forget about sleeping until it wraps up. Having said all this, if we knew there wouldn't be any loud events keeping us up at night, we would book this room again.
