There is a little bit of wear and tear, but, it is in generally good shape
Would You Book This Same Cabin Again?
Its Not a Bad Cabin -- I would be open to trying a different cabin, however.
Noise In Cabin
You could hear a good deal of noise, it was mostly tolerable
You can hear the night club music banging throughout the night. If you sleep with ear plugs you will be fine.
Cabin Odor
A slight odor, but, you go used to it.
Upon entering the cabin we noticed a slight musty smell in the room. We brought an airwick automatic spray device with us and we never smelled the musty smell the rest of the cruise.
Temperature Control in Cabin
The temperature controls were VERY effective and you could easily maintain temperature
The cabin did not get as cold as I would like but we brought an oscillating tower fan and were very comfortable.
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin 6207
I'm on vacation -- the last thing I want to do is connect to WiFi. (I didn't test it…)
Lighting
The lighting was good -- nothing extraordinary
Bathroom Condition
There is a little bit of wear and tear on the bathroom, but, it didn't feel dirty
View From The Cabin
Amazing view - I loved looking at the view every day
The view was wonderful during the day. At night our neighbors left their balcony light on all night, making so much light pollution that we could not enjoy any stars or the moon reflecting on the water. The light also came into the room so it was never 100 percent dark in the room.
Drawers, Clothes and Luggage Storage
Excellent. I was able to find a place for everything in the drawers and closet. I didn't have to leave anything in my suitcase
Technology, Comfort & Convenience
Needs serious improvement. Undersized flat panel TV and no iPod dock
Lounging Space
Very Good. Chair or a couch with a coffee or side table
Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION)
The cabin was nice but definitely needs some maintenance done to it. The safe in the room worked perfectly. The only problem was that it wasn't bolted to the shelf anymore so even with it locked someone could carry the whole safe off with your belongings if they wanted to. The deadbolt on the door to the hallway only worked if you lifted up the entire door while attempting to lock the deadbolt. There are a few broken plastic hooks at the end of the curtains, causing the curtains to the balcony to not close all the way. The first few days we noticed black specks or rocks, maybe charcoal in the toilet water. Maybe it was to help with any smells, it just looked strange. The shower head constantly turned towards the wall. It was a constant battle to get the water aimed away from the wall and onto the body. The TV's in the room were flat panel but they were way too small for the room. We are talking maybe a 19" computer screen.
