Overall Room Condition Impressions
There is a little bit of wear and tear, but, it is in generally good shape
Would You Book This Same Cabin Again?
Absolutely! It's a great cabin.
Noise In Cabin
A little noise in the cabin -- you didn't notice it if you were not paying attention
As an aft cabin, 5190 has some vibrational noise from the azipods.
Cabin Odor
A slight odor, but, you go used to it.
At 3.00 pm, the suite fills with the intoxicating perfume of fresh bread.... go figure?
Temperature Control in Cabin
The temperature controls were VERY effective and you could easily maintain temperature
In the South Pacific, it is important to keep the drapes drawn when you are out to help maintain the temp.
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin 5003
The WiFi signal strength was OK
Lighting
The lighting is exceptional - the cabin was very thoughfully lit.
Bedside controls
Bathroom Condition
Spotless. Everything is in top shape and feels very clean
View From The Cabin
Amazing view - I loved looking at the view every day
One large window above the desk and Double floor to ceiling glass doors, both face aft.
Drawers, Clothes and Luggage Storage
Excellent. I was able to find a place for everything in the drawers and closet. I didn't have to leave anything in my suitcase
Technology, Comfort & Convenience
Needs serious improvement. Undersized flat panel TV and no iPod dock
Lounging Space
Very Good. Chair or a couch with a coffee or side table
Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION)
Bathroom: double sink, 2 medicine chests, full size tub with spa jets and shower head. Separate shower stall. Bath and shower have double skin shower screens. Toilet has adequate space at end of bathroom. Bathroom toiletries are dissapointing.... elemis soaps + pump pack shampoo, conditioner and bath gel (peppermint scented) I disliked smelling like a candy cane after bathing! The only other extras were a flimsy loofah, shower cap and bath salts. Powder room: poofah, 3 draws, mirrors, + makeup mirror, dryer, 3 full robes. Door between bathroom and powder room, curtain between powder room and suite foyer. Marble top bar with mirror, underneath is the minibar and a cupboard with glassware. King size bed, lots of pillows (flat, soft, marshmallow) 3 seater lounge, large oval glass top coffee table. 2 large table lamps bench with 3 cabinets, topped with telephone and cruise compendium. Desk facing Aft window with drawers. Electronics: Very dissapointing... very 1990 's.... Flat (not LCD) TV (approx 30 inch and low res), no interactive features (movies, bill, bookings, weather etc) 3 movie channels, 2 music, CNN, ESPN, and LOTS of self promotion. Movies via DVD player and VERY outdated dvd library that can be delivered to the suite. Ship location information is very basic, no swell / weather information.... just speed , direction and apparent wind speed. Balcony. HUGE. Wrap around. Aft measures 4. 5 x 6. 5 m + port side 8 x 1. 5 m 2 loungers, 2 wicker armchairs + ottomans, timber table for 4.
