Overall Room Condition Impressions There is a little bit of wear and tear, but, it is in generally good shape
Would You Book This Same Cabin Again? Absolutely! It's a great cabin.
Noise In Cabin No Noise -- Very Quiet Cabin
Cabin Odor No noticable Odors
Temperature Control in Cabin The temperature controls were VERY effective and you could easily maintain temperature
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin 7259 The WiFi signal strength was OK
Lighting The lighting is exceptional - the cabin was very thoughfully lit.
Bathroom Condition Spotless. Everything is in top shape and feels very clean
View From The Cabin Amazing view - I loved looking at the view every day We had a lovely unobstructed view of the ocean from the balcony. There are four lounge chairs on the balcony (two on each side of the door) but only one small table. Would be useful and more convenient to add another small table for the other side. Drinks had to be placed on the floor!
Drawers, Clothes and Luggage Storage Excellent. I was able to find a place for everything in the drawers and closet. I didn't have to leave anything in my suitcase
Technology, Comfort & Convenience Good. Appropriately sized, flat-panel TV and Ipod dock
Lounging Space Excellent. Combination of chair(s), couch and coffee or side table. Everyone could find a seat
Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION) Overall this cruise was enjoyable and the cabin space was adequate and met expectations in terms of space and amenities. However I was disappointed in the cabin steward. There were four of us in this suite yet only three towels and washcloths were provided on a daily basis. We had to ask for additional. On the last night six were provided! We hardly saw our room steward and didn't feel 'looked after' by her at all. On arrival, we asked for the twin beds to be made into a king. She wanted to do it right but we asked if we could just have a moment to freshen up first. She was visibly exasperated and told us that if we didn't allow her to do it right away she would be going off duty and we wouldn't have another steward available till the next morning? We thought this was strange and we expected another steward to take over the night shift? On another occasion, I was not out of the room by the time she came to make it up (11:30am) she told me she would be going for lunch and wouldn't be able to make up the room till 6pm. That was fine because we were going to be on a tour all day anyways but it was just her attitude. We felt like we were bothering her if we didn't fit her schedule. On all previous cruises we have been on the room stewards were very attentive, helpful and great. Can't say the same about this one. We ate in the Atlantic dining room most evenings and the food was a little disappointing. First, the entrees always arrived barely warm and on one day we were served prime rib and a baked potato - no veggies! We asked for vegetables and were told the potato was the vegetable. We then requested steamed vegetables as a side dish which were fabulous. Would have been much better if some were provided with the meal. The wait staff were wonderful and on the first night the lady checking everyone in had a difficult time accommodating everyone. She kept a cool head and did an amazing job trying to satisfy expectations and get people seated as soon as possible. On New Year's Eve the hats were all finished by the time we went to dine (9pm). Disappointing as we wanted to take pictures wearing them as it was a New Years cruise. Had we known we would have brought our own! A better system would be to have them in the rooms on arrival. We had to ask other guests to borrow theirs in order for us to take New Years pictures. Very disappointing.
