Overall Room Condition Impressions
Spotless. Everything is in top shape and feels very clean
Would You Book This Same Cabin Again?
Absolutely! It's a great cabin.
Noise In Cabin
A little noise in the cabin -- you didn't notice it if you were not paying attention
The cabin is above one of the lounges that stops entertainment at 11:30 pm. Unless you try to listen for the music, you will not notice it. No other outside noise even from the hallway.
Cabin Odor
No noticable Odors
Temperature Control in Cabin
The temperature controls were VERY effective and you could easily maintain temperature
When the sun faced the balcony side of the cabin, it helped if you kept the curtains closed to block excessive natural light/heat.
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin 108
I'm on vacation -- the last thing I want to do is connect to WiFi. (I didn't test it…)
Lighting
The lighting is exceptional - the cabin was very thoughfully lit.
Takes a while to get used to which switches control what lights, but the cabin is well illuminated.
Bathroom Condition
Spotless. Everything is in top shape and feels very clean
View From The Cabin
Amazing view - I loved looking at the view every day
Unobstructed view of the ocean or port. We used the balcony every day and enjoyed being able to pop outside to check weather, temperature or to see the sun, moon and stars as well as the waves.
Drawers, Clothes and Luggage Storage
Excellent. I was able to find a place for everything in the drawers and closet. I didn't have to leave anything in my suitcase
Technology, Comfort & Convenience
Excellent. Larger sized flat-panel TV. Ipod dock
Lounging Space
Excellent. Combination of chair(s), couch and coffee or side table. Everyone could find a seat
Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION)
Cabin 119 is well placed Forward on Deck 9 - Verandah Deck. The deck above is all cabins - no public areas. The deck below is mostly public areas including Ocean Bar, Mix, Casino, restaurants etc. The forward elevator led up to the Lido deck (pool and buffet restaurant) or down to deck 3 to get off the ship in port or deck 5 to exit the ship in Tampa. The main dining room is at the rear of the ship on decks 7 and 8 - so an easy all back and then down. The cabin has two large closets, 13 drawers of storage space and a mini-fridge for the mini-bar but also can be used for medication. The bed is high enough up to permit storage of four large pieces of luggage. There are no electrical outlets near the main bed, so I had to run an extension cord over to one to power my CPAP sleeping equipment. There is a good sized table in the middle of the room where we had breakfast delivered each morning. The bathroom is well organized with shelves for storage, a decent sized counter and a nice tub/shower combo with a handheld shower head that can be mounted in one place or moved around by holding it. The controls are easy to use, as are the three Elegies supply bottles mount to the wall (shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The room has a hairdryer that plugs in at the cabinetry of the desk area.
