Overall Room Condition Impressions
Spotless. Everything is in top shape and feels very clean
Would You Book This Same Cabin Again?
Its Not a Bad Cabin -- I would be open to trying a different cabin, however.
Noise In Cabin
You could hear a good deal of noise, it was mostly tolerable
This cabin is right under the Horizon Bistro. I was told activity would stop by 11 p.m. every night. However, as late as 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. we were woken by the sound of rolling carts. It sounded like they were bowling overhead. After three days of complaining, they finally changed the route of the carts.
Cabin Odor
A strong Odor - slightly annoying.
Every time you opened the balcony door, it smelled like kitty litter. Yes, sounds strange and I thought it was just me, but my husband and daughter noticed it from day one. Very odd smell and on some days quite nasty. Could not figure out what was causing it.
Temperature Control in Cabin
The temperature controls were good, but, you would have to regularly change them to maintain the appropriate temperature
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin M523
I couldn't get WiFi in the cabin
Lighting
The lighting was good -- nothing extraordinary
Bathroom Condition
There is a little bit of wear and tear on the bathroom, but, it didn't feel dirty
View From The Cabin
Amazing view - I loved looking at the view every day
Drawers, Clothes and Luggage Storage
Very good. I was able to find a place for most things in the drawers and closet. I did have to use my suitcase to store some things
Technology, Comfort & Convenience
Good. Appropriately sized, flat-panel TV and Ipod dock
Lounging Space
Very Good. Chair or a couch with a coffee or side table
Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION)
The cabin was a wonderful size and the biggest we have ever had. The sofa bed, however, was a grueling and backbreaking process to open. And according to my daughter, one of the most uncomfortable she has ever slept on. It was a big couch, however, when closed and could sit there adults comfortably. We didn't want it made up at night so we could use it; so, unfortunately, that left it to my daughter and husband to try to open it each night. The other odd design was the cabinet set inside the closet area. There was a tall "wardrobe" with shelves and the safe inside. However, it was set right next to the bathroom door. So if you wanted to get into the cabinet, you had to forewarn anyone in the bathroom not to open the door while you were standing there. A better solution would have been to put it on the other end of the closet! As I said previously, the noise from above would prevent me from getting this location again; and the balcony was the smallest we have ever had. If the three of us just wanted to stand out there, we had to put the chairs and table together in a corner or stack them.
