Overall Room Condition Impressions
The cabin is beginning to look "tired". But, it still appeared to be clean
Would You Book This Same Cabin Again?
No way. I was counting the days until we could leave this cabin.
Noise In Cabin
No Noise -- Very Quiet Cabin
No noticable Odors
Temperature Control in Cabin
The temperature controls were VERY effective and you could easily maintain temperature
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin B115
I'm on vacation -- the last thing I want to do is connect to WiFi. (I didn't test it…)
The lighting was good -- nothing extraordinary
There is a little bit of wear and tear on the bathroom, but, it didn't feel dirty
View From The Cabin
The view was partially obstructed
We paid for a regular balcony, non obstructed for 21 days. After a significant delay boarding (we did not get into our room until 8pm at night), I saw in the morning that our balcony was metal could not see through metal panels.I was very upset. We spoke to the front desk manager Branislav and he said they would try to move us if any cabins became available. Checked another time before the second leg of our 21 day tour, still nothing. Then 1-2 days after that returned and spoke with customer ..
Drawers, Clothes and Luggage Storage
Very good. I was able to find a place for most things in the drawers and closet. I did have to use my suitcase to store some things
Technology, Comfort & Convenience
Good. Appropriately sized, flat-panel TV and Ipod dock
Very Good. Chair or a couch with a coffee or side table
Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION)
The last 8 days of our 21 day tour, we were moved to 527A which was excellent compared to our first 13 days of our tour. We got the view we expected for our whole trip for the last part. When you pull up the B115 photo in the princess deck plan it shows a balcony with see through panels for a view of the ocean either sitting or from a laying position from your bed which we were denied the earlier 2/3 of our trip. Also, we had requested a queen bed which was a single queen with excellent matress the last week in room 527A. The first two weeks twin beds pushed together with an uneven mattress going up in the middle first two weeks in B115. People should be made aware cabin B115 is obstructed view. We would never have considered this room if that information regarding the metal panel instead of clear paneling for an ocean was unavailable. Eventually the situation was made right which was appreciated after two thirds of our voyage. I just retired last February and am hoping this will not influence our future cruising preferences. We were very disappointed the first two weeks with the obstructed balcony view!
