There is a little bit of wear and tear, but, it is in generally good shape
Would You Book This Same Cabin Again?
Its Not a Bad Cabin -- I would be open to trying a different cabin, however.
Noise In Cabin
You could hear a good deal of noise, it was mostly tolerable
Lots of foot steps from above deck. Also, mechanical noises close by during entire cruise.
No noticable Odors

Why did they even bother putting a thermostat in the cabin -- it didn't work
The cabin's A/C never did work properly. It went from stuffy & humid to cool. Never got cool enough for us to be really comfortable.
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin 356
I'm on vacation -- the last thing I want to do is connect to WiFi. (I didn't test it…)
The lighting is exceptional - the cabin was very thoughfully lit.
The bathroom is beginning to look "tired". But, it still appeared to be clean

Drawers, Clothes and Luggage Storage
Excellent. I was able to find a place for everything in the drawers and closet. I didn't have to leave anything in my suitcase

Good. Appropriately sized, flat-panel TV and Ipod dock
Excellent. Combination of chair(s), couch and coffee or side table. Everyone could find a seat
Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION)
The toilet in stateroom 356 began to leak badly during the first night of the cruise. Water on the bathroom floor, a real mess. I called in the problem and someone was sent to do a clean up. However, toilet still leaked. At 2:00AM, I went to front desk to complain and request a different cabin. We were given a temp. cabin to use until our assigned stateroom was repaired. Middle of next day we were told our #356 had been repaired and we could return to it. About four days from end of cruise, the toilet would not flush and came close to overflowing. I called it in and a ships plumber was promptly dispatched to fix it. Needless to say, we were not pleased with our bathroom. The customer service folks did give us a free dinner in one of the high end eatery's on board - $20.00 value. I suppose that was a way of saying they were sorry for what we had to experience! The lack of proper A/C was also an issue in cabin 356. The ship is 19 years old and starting to show it. For the money we spent, I certainly expected things to be in better working order.
