Temperature Control in Cabin
The temperature controls were VERY effective and you could easily maintain temperature
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin D734
I'm on vacation -- the last thing I want to do is connect to WiFi. (I didn't test it…)
Lighting
The lighting is exceptional - the cabin was very thoughfully lit.
I really appreciated being able to turn off ALL the cabin overhead lights (with the exception of the interior bathroom light, of course) from BED!! A small, but really, really nice feature.
Bathroom Condition
There is a little bit of wear and tear on the bathroom, but, it didn't feel dirty
View From The Cabin
Amazing view - I loved looking at the view every day
Drawers, Clothes and Luggage Storage
Excellent. I was able to find a place for everything in the drawers and closet. I didn't have to leave anything in my suitcase
Technology, Comfort & Convenience
Excellent. Larger sized flat-panel TV. Ipod dock
Lounging Space
Excellent. Combination of chair(s), couch and coffee or side table. Everyone could find a seat
Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION)
The Dolphin Deck Mini-Suites are great - no noise from above or below, and very generously sized balconies. The one thing to note on Dolphin is that the balconies are open to the sky - there is no overhang above you, which if you're me, is GREAT, because it means you can chat with your neighbours above when leaving port, entering port, etc. And it means you have a full view of the sky for star-gazing, and a full chance at the sunshine in your reclining lounger, on sea days! There is no privacy from above, however. This didn't matter at all to me, and I booked this room, knowing it would be this way. Having the balcony jut out farther than the above decks gave me a great view, and since there is no smoking allowed on balconies, I was able to enjoy being outside day and night. I would book the same deck (9) again - loved the large open balcony, and the mini-suite is a worthwhile splurge! Very quiet cabin, close enough to mid-ship to feel stable at all times (given that you're on a ship!) and I was mid-way between the Promenade deck (7) and the upper pools and Horizon Court on the higher decks, so that when the elevators were busy, I could walk.
