Passengers in Cabin:2 Passengers
Past Cruise Experience:6-10 Cruises
Overall Room Condition Impressions
Spotless. Everything is in top shape and feels very clean
Would You Book This Same Cabin Again?
Its Not a Bad Cabin -- I would be open to trying a different cabin, however.
Noise In Cabin
You could hear a good deal of noise, it was mostly tolerable
Cabin is in back near an elevator that only goes a few floors. In order to get to most places you have to walk to the center elevators. When arriving or departing port the thrusters were so loud they woke me up. The noise and vibration in the room would last up to 20 minutes. Rarely heard anything from the theater directly below the cabin.
Cabin Odor
No noticable Odors
Temperature Control in Cabin
The temperature controls were good, but, you would have to regularly change them to maintain the appropriate temperature
Was having a hard time keeping the air on the cool side.
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin E719
Have you seen what the cruise line charges for WiFi? I can't afford that... (I didn't test it...)
Lighting
The lighting is exceptional - the cabin was very thoughfully lit.
Bathroom Condition
Spotless. Everything is in top shape and feels very clean
View From The Cabin
Amazing view - I loved looking at the view every day
Drawers, Clothes and Luggage Storage
Excellent. I was able to find a place for everything in the drawers and closet. I didn't have to leave anything in my suitcase
Technology, Comfort & Convenience
Good. Appropriately sized, flat-panel TV and Ipod dock
Lounging Space
Excellent. Combination of chair(s), couch and coffee or side table. Everyone could find a seat
Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION)
The main problem I had on the cruise was boredom. There were 2 TV's back to back and no good stations. No ABC< NBC< or CBS. I am not into sports and they had CNN, ESPN, nearly non stop old Love Boat Series, Back to back old movies...seemed like the same ones played all day. They also had back to back Bob Sponge Pants, and Paddington Bear. Most of the time there was no place to sit in the lobby areas and the seating in the restaurants was next to nothing. The buffet was the skimpiest I have ever seen on a cruise ship and most of the time the dressings were oil based. If you want something like Ranch or Thousand Island you better bring your own.
DeckPlanGenius Review Authenticity Statement
In a perfect world, everybody would be honest and there would be no "fake" reviews -- reviews for compensation, reviews by those with a business connection to the cruise line and even reviews by persons who never cruised in this cabin or on this ship! Use common sense and maintain a degree of skepticism with all reviews that you read.
