Overall Room Condition Impressions
There is a little bit of wear and tear, but, it is in generally good shape
Would You Book This Same Cabin Again?
Absolutely! It's a great cabin.
Noise In Cabin
No Noise -- Very Quiet Cabin
This cabin is near the aft end of the ship. Foot traffic is minimal this far back. The emergency exit stairs are very close. Of course, you would not know that if you do not read the emergency plan posted on the door.
Cabin Odor
No noticable Odors
Temperature Control in Cabin
The temperature controls were good, but, you would have to regularly change them to maintain the appropriate temperature
Our room tended to be cold, even if the control was set to maximum temperature.
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin 9008
The WiFi worked great in the cabin
Lighting
The lighting was good -- nothing extraordinary
Bathroom Condition
There is a little bit of wear and tear on the bathroom, but, it didn't feel dirty
View From The Cabin
Very good view
Drawers, Clothes and Luggage Storage
Good, but, I could have used a bit more storage space
Technology, Comfort & Convenience
Good. Appropriately sized, flat-panel TV and Ipod dock
Lounging Space
Very Good. Chair or a couch with a coffee or side table
Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION)
We placed the 2' x 2' table onto the balcony to make more useable room. The room steward removed the mini-bar contents so we could use the full space. The refrigerator was tiny. The most amazing thing about this room is that there is only one usable 110 volt outlet. The TV uses on outlet and the other outlet near it is 220V for the European trade. Another 220 volt outlet is near the small dressing table. A 110 volt outlet at the dressing table was made more useable by the three-way power tap that I brought from home. Cell phones, tablets, CPAP take more than the one outlet. There is no 110 volt outlet near the bed if you have a CPAP. so bring an extension cord, too. If you have a 220 volt to 110 volt converter, it would be helpful. NCL refurbished this boat just a few years ago. The really missed out on the electronic toys that Americans have to carry.
