Would You Book This Same Cabin Again?
Absolutely! It's a great cabin.
Noise In Cabin
No Noise -- Very Quiet Cabin
Cabin Odor
No noticable Odors
In the cabin, itself, there was not an odor. However, in the WC there was a strong smell of urine (probably a result of urine getting into the grout and not able to be cleaned thoroughly?)
Temperature Control in Cabin
The temperature controls were VERY effective and you could easily maintain temperature
WiFi Signal Strength in Cabin 10000
I'm on vacation -- the last thing I want to do is connect to WiFi. (I didn't test it…)
Lighting
The lighting is exceptional - the cabin was very thoughfully lit.
Bathroom Condition
There is a little bit of wear and tear on the bathroom, but, it didn't feel dirty
View From The Cabin
Amazing view - I loved looking at the view every day
Drawers, Clothes and Luggage Storage
Excellent. I was able to find a place for everything in the drawers and closet. I didn't have to leave anything in my suitcase
Technology, Comfort & Convenience
Excellent. Larger sized flat-panel TV. Ipod dock
Lounging Space
Excellent. Combination of chair(s), couch and coffee or side table. Everyone could find a seat
Your Comments & Observations (OPTIONAL QUESTION)
If you like the 'motion of the ocean', this is the place. The ship seemed to rock us to sleep and handled the seas very well (didn't exprience more than ten foot seas). I did try to read a book on our veranda, but we were heading into the wind and some of the soot from the stacks could be smelled. The veranda is a great place to hang wet cloths and overlooks the propellers. At some point after mid-day, they hose off the eating deck at Cabana's, so we had some water on our veranda, but since we didn't really hang out in our cabin, it wasn't an issue. There is very little foot traffic in the hallway outside since there are only a few cabins in that area, so it's fairly quiet. Being one deck below Cabana's, you can hear them moving the deck tables around starting around 5:30/6:00am, but most days we slept through it. It's also nice to shoot up/down one flight of stairs to go to/leave breakfast. The aft elevators are usually not that busy, as well.
DeckPlanGenius Review Authenticity Statement
In a perfect world, everybody would be honest and there would be no "fake" reviews -- reviews for compensation, reviews by those with a business connection to the cruise line and even reviews by persons who never cruised in this cabin or on this ship! Use common sense and maintain a degree of skepticism with all reviews that you read.
